Young Arab women and men cope with substantial challenges on the road to adulthood: slim prospects of integrating into the job market, the lack of suitable vocational training, language barriers, and the absence of the experience and information that can guide them when choosing a career path that is suitable for their skills and personal proclivity. The understanding that this life stage is critical for forming self and social identities and charting educational and career paths, led to the establishment of the 4future program.
4future was formed with the aim of promoting social and economic mobility through the acquisition of 21st century skills, increasing access to information on job opportunities, and the cultivation of self-confidence, a sense of belonging and self-efficacy among young women and men at the age of 18-29 in Arab society.
The program’s first part comprises an intensive four-month training program that includes six courses: computer literacy, financial education, social studies focusing on issues in Arab society, Hebrew proficiency, a “My Dream” goal-setting workshop, and outdoor development training activities. During the program, participants receive a living allowance of ILS8,000.

In the second part of the program, participants go through a two-month one-on-one personalized course of counseling and receive comprehensive tailored guidance and support as they make their first steps in the job market.
In the third and last part of the program, the recipients join the graduate network that provides a further tier of support as they chart their personal and professional path.
