The first years of life are the basis for a child’s development. They are the critical years in which children acquire emotional, social, cognitive and physical skills. In these crucial years, the investment in quality frameworks, in a safe and supportive environment and in professional care is a direct investment in the future of the children, as well as in the strength of the community.
In Israel’s northern region, particularly in the geo-economic peripheries, there is a growing need in quality early-childhood day care programs, such that not only provide day care and education but also offer their families a supportive framework of guidance and assistance.
Our child day-care centers are designed to provide a holistic framework that encompasses the children, their parents and the educational staff, acting as a link to the community and facilitates the children’s optimal development from early childhood.
Northern Goals operates two holistic day-care centers in Hatzor Ha’Glilit and Marom HaGalil.
The centers are based on the national inter-municipal agency model of the “House for Young Children (Bayit LaGil HaRach) and offer the following services:
- Early diagnosis of developmental issues.
- Various therapy programs – emotional, motor skills, linguistic development etc.
- One-on-one counseling and group workshops for parents.
- Enrichment workshops for children and parents.
- Continuous collaboration with relevant municipal services such as the departments of health, welfare and education.
The early childhood day-care centers are accessible to all groups of the population, specifically for at-risk children. They promote a holistic approach that encompasses the child, parents and the community.
