The transition from the home or nursery to kindergarten is an important and exciting developmental milestone in the life of a child. It is an introduction to a new social, emotional and educational environment, to which both the child and parents need to acclimate. Appropriate support in this process contributes to a positive experience of the new beginning, strengthens the child’s confidence and parental self-efficacy.
EL HaGan program – supportive guidance toward the optimal transition to kindergarten. The program operates in the young-childhood centers in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Yad HaNadiv foundation.
