The parent-child centers provide a unique care framework that offers support to at-risk children and adolescents under 18 and their parents. Many times, risk situations stem from significant parental disfunction and parent–child relational difficulties. The centers’ activity is anchored in a systemic family-oriented approach, aimed at strengthening the family unit, improving parental skills and creating a healthier and more supportive parent-child relationship.
The centers activity is based on professional intervention and treatment, provided by social workers, and therapists in the expressive and creative arts, and tailored to the needs of the family and child/adolescent.
